The Colony HS Multi-Purpose Building
Envelope Commissioning
Rennell Associates is pleased to have provided Envelope Commissioning and Testing services for The Colony High School's new 92,500 square-foot Multi-Purpose Building and 5,500 square-foot Press Box. Our services ensured that the building's envelope—encompassing walls, windows, doors, and roofing—functions as designed, meets energy efficiency standards, and performs optimally in all conditions.
As part of our comprehensive approach, we conducted site inspections and window leakage testing, ensuring long-term durability and cost-effectiveness of the building envelope. These inspections ensure that the building meets the design criteria and necessary ASTM E1105 and AAMA 501.2 standards, helping to create a healthy, energy-efficient environment for its occupants.
This new facility will be the home of the TCHS Cougar basketball and volleyball programs, providing state-of-the-art training facilities, offices, meeting rooms, and amenities that will support TCHS students and organizations. The Multi-Purpose Building and Press Box will enhance the school's athletic and extracurricular offerings, making it a key resource for both current and future generations of students.
Rennell Associates is proud to have played a part in this exciting project, helping to ensure that The Colony High School’s new facilities are built to the highest standards of performance and sustainability.
